Open Meaning
The word open recognizes its etymological origin in the Latin “apertus” and its meaning is “a place that allows circulation through it, or entering an enclosure or place.”
An open place can refer to an open place, which, lacking buildings, allows free movement through it, or it can be a building where access blockers have not been placed, such as walls, doors, and windows that completely close them, or its openings are not closed, in an impassable manner, for example, no locks or keys have been placed in them.

In Medicine, an open wound is one where the skin is bruised, cut, and therefore bleeds, and is susceptible to infection, which requires care, sanitation, disinfection and often suturing, especially if the cut is deep. Open heart surgery is one in which to perform the intervention (on the arteries, valves or myocardium) the patient’s chest must be opened.
In Law, opening a judicial case means starting a lawsuit, putting the jurisdictional apparatus in motion to resolve a contentious issue or one that requires a ruling from the judge or court.
