What is the Bihar Free Coaching Scheme 2024?

Bihar Free Coaching Scheme has been started for the students of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe of Bihar state who have passed intermediate and graduation, for the preparation of competitive examinations including BPSC, SSC, banking or railways, where preparation for competitive examination can be done easily by taking free coaching. Students who are unable to take coaching due to financial weakness or where coaching facility is not available are eligible to apply under this scheme.

Let us tell you that under this scheme, the government is going to set up various training centers where candidates will be selected for a total of 4560 seats. In each training center, students will be admitted on 120 seats, in which 60 seats are reserved for students preparing for banking and the remaining 70 seats are reserved for students preparing for railways.

Number of seats in Bihar Free Coaching Scheme 2024

For the information of all the candidates, let us tell you that under this scheme, candidates will be selected for a total of 4560 seats in all the districts. Two batches of 60-60 students, i.e. a total of 120 students, will be run at the training center for 6 months. Out of the total available seats for this training program, 40% of seats are reserved for backward-class candidates and 60% for extremely backward-class candidates.

Please note that in case of non-availability of students from extremely backward classes, students from backward classes will be enrolled for the vacant seats, and in case of non-availability of students from backward classes, students from extremely backward class will be enrolled for the vacant seats.

The objective of the Bihar Free Coaching Scheme

Bihar Free Training Scheme has been started to help the candidates prepare for competitive exams in which students will be provided free training. Its duration will be 6 months and in these 6 months, candidates will be fully prepared for competitive exams so that candidates can prepare well according to the subject

Eligibility: Bihar Free Coaching Scheme 2024

All the candidates should know that under the Bihar Free Coaching Scheme, free training will be provided to those candidates who will ensure the following specific eligibility criteria –

• Only native residents of Bihar state can apply for this scheme.
• Candidates aged 18 years or above will be eligible to apply for Bihar Free Coaching Scheme.
• The educational qualification for application should be Intermediate and Graduate for SSC and BPSC.
• The student should belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category.
• The benefit of this scheme will be given to those students whose family’s annual income is less than Rs 2.50 lakh.

Benefits: Bihar Free Coaching Scheme 2024?

• Eligible candidates will be provided 6 months free coaching to prepare for competitive exams.
• Such candidates who cannot afford coaching due to financial constraints will get a chance to get free training.
• Candidates will be selected for a total of 4560 seats in each district of the state and 120 candidates will be appointed in each training centre.
• This scheme is meant for candidates coming from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
• Here the candidates will be selected on the basis of multiple choice written examination and counselling as per the syllabus prescribed for the competitive examinations to be held under the respective course.
• To avail the benefits of this scheme, 75% attendance of students has been made mandatory.
• Training will be provided in two groups in each training centre.
• In this, the first group batch will be conducted for the candidates appearing in Civil Services Competitive Examination and the second group batch will be conducted for the candidates appearing in Railway/Banking, SSC, etc. competitive examinations.
• Under the scheme, students will also be given incentives at the rate of ₹3000 for registering 75% attendance.
