Alba Meaning
The origin of word alba is found in the Latin “albus” and its meaning is “white”. It is applied at dawn, due to the clarity that characterizes that time of day, when the sun begins to rise, ending the darkness of the night.
The planet Venus is popularly known as the star or morning star since it can sometimes be seen at dawn (it can also be seen at dusk).
